Syteria

Yorkshire based band Syteria were formed by Jackie ‘Jax’ Chambers, of the legendary Girlschool, alongside Argentine siblings Julia and Pablo Calvo, and Steph Dawson.

Syteria began to play the main stages at major UK festivals and gig around the world, to critical acclaim from music journalists reviewing both studio and live performances.

The Syteria sound mixes elements of modern pop/punk energies with the more contemporary rock anthemic choruses, incorporating four-part harmonies and using the ancient Solfeggio scale of recording in 432hz, instead of the standard 440hz, to leave you feeling in tune with the universe.

The debut album, ‘Rant-O-Bot’ received an award nomination and was shortlisted to the final five at the ‘Independent Music Awards’, as well as ranking highly in many online voting polls for best band in various categories.

The follow up album, ‘Reflection’ was released in 2020, just before the pandemic, supported by countless of stunning reviews. ‘Make Some Noise’ was the first single to be released, followed by ‘Gossips’, ‘Goodbye World’ and ‘Reflection’. ‘Talk Too Much’, a song that wasn’t included on the CD version of the album, was also released during the lockdown with a fun home-made video from the band.

In 2022, Syteria signed with Curtain Call Records and are in the process of writing and recording brand new material in readiness for a third album, to be released in 2023. A double A-side single was released in May 2022 with ‘It Hit Me’ and ‘Pause For Peace’, both of which are attracting media interest and receiving airplay from major radio stations around the world.
