All-female modern heavy rock foursome from Prague, Czech Republic, who play loud, hard and catchy.
Since 2013, The Agony have released two albums and two EP’s, played numerous club gigs and slots at huge festivals (main stage at Masters of Rock festival is worth a mention), toured Europe and opened for international artists – Scorpions at Prague’s largest indoor venue O2 arena, Girlschool, Loudness, Blaze Bayley (ex-Iron Maiden) and Mike Terrana to name a few.
The Agony released 3 singles and toured the UK in 2022. In February 2023, the band‘s frontwoman, Nikola Kandoussi, joined Girlschool on their British tour as a guest guitarist / stand-in for Kim McAuliffe.
The Agony’s new album Rising is coming out on 27th April 2023 to celebrate the band’s 10th anniversary. UK dates will follow in August this year.
